We were very excited about making this cake, because our customer wanted to personalise it for her mother in law's 80th birthday celebration and she wanted it to look oriental, no english wordings or numeric numbers at all. This gave us a little challenge but we truly love how it turned out.

There were 90pcs of mini cupcakes in orange cranberry flavour. Each of them were decorated with chocolate plaques in edible print of either Fu(2) Lu(4) Shou(4) - meaning happiness, wealthiness and long life. The sides of top tier were painted with trees to symbolise long life and prosperity. Our customer too order a small figurine of ah ma with two turtoises for keepsake purpose. Finally, 8 cupcakes were decorated with sugar peaches were arranged in front of the cupcake setup for blowing of candles.

We managed to snap one photo of the birthday Ah Ma who is very healthy and active at the age of 80, salute!!

My customer came to me to personalise a birthday cake for her husband. We were brainstorming on what to do and she had an idea of hinting her hubby for a third baby. Hence I proposed to do a sofa design with handcrafted figurines on it. We wanted the cake to look cool and little funny with the special message. They had a great time and all guests who attended the party were impressed with the look of cake as well as its taste.

Cake serves approx. 23pax.

This is a classic design that I have been wanted to attempt since the very first stage of my cake decorating life. All sides of cake tiers were decorated hundreds of flowers and each of the tiers have different flavours, from top to bottom: rich fruit cake (marzipanned for keeping till first anniversary), orange cranberry, blueberry and dark chocolate.

This little cake serves approx. 15pax and we truly love how it turned out. The mask was handcrafted with sugar, to add some dramatic effect, we've glue on some swarovski crystals onto it. Our customer celebrated her 21 year old and specially ordered the cake to be sprinkled with fairy dusts.

Our customer wished to personalise her daughter's cake with inspiration from the Precious Moment figurine with a princessy touch. The baby's favourite colour is baby blue and we too used a little pink and gold to create the elegant feel to the cake.

We attempted this design again but our customer added a sheep to her baby girl's cake. Cake served approx. 40-50pax.

Our customer provided a picture to show us what she wants to do, she call them "Higglytown Heroes". Cake served approx. 30pax.

We are feeling glad of this weekend's schedule, which is more relax and allows some early preparation for coming week's orders. Following are two cupcake ideas that are totally different in concept but equally presentable, with their own personalities.

The specified theme colours of the above cupcakes were light blue and white, with simple flower and seagull as decorations.

Coming up design consists of 40 mini cupcakes, the theme colours are turqoise, red, pink and purple. Our customer specially ordered additional candies for her daughter's cupcake cake.

As a surprise to the birthday girl, we've customised some chocolate picks in her favourite comic character Shugo Chara.

Our customer is a mask rider collector, he brought us a belt and would love to make the watch in the middle of the belt as his son's 3year cake.

We tried to carve a cake based on close ratio to the watch and not forgetting to customise a chocolate card based on the playcard that he showed to us.

This is our first attempt on tin robots theme, all robots were provided by customer, cake serves approx. 40-50pax.

Our customer would like a design with style and simplicity for her 21 year old birthday. The selected colour scheme is white and tiffany blue and the cake serves 20-23pax.

Below featured one of last week's cake that I really enjoyed making. The inspiration was derived from a picture that my customer emailed to me. The overall presentation is cozy and full of fun as the decorations were set on a slanted sides two-tier cake. Cake serves approx. 40-50pax.

Along with the main cake, our customer also ordered some cupcakes for another party.

This design has becoming popular ever since we introduce the first of its kind. We made use of candy picks to decorate the cake, the chocolate candies can be piped in any shape or design to match the theme of your party and children will be honoured to eat them!

There is an interesting character of this beautiful pink lady, which is layered with martini cured lychee chunks. This small cake serves approx. 10pax and it is one of our specialty cakes.

Special remark: This cake is categorised as "specialty cakes and bakes" and there is an additional charge on icing board along with the design.

Another cupcake cake project that we completed last weekend. It was meant for an 8 year old birthday girl and our customer ordered chocolate eclairs and cream cheese brownies along with her order too. To view other items of desserts, please click HERE.

Cupcakes are very cute and convenient as it saves the work of cutting a whole cake. Our customer personalised these mini cupcakes with swirl piping, sprinkles and one flower/ butterfly/ letter plaque in the theme colours she specified. These cupcakes however, are not normal chocolate but it's our vegan chocolate recipe that contains no milk or butter.

Hello Kitty is simple and sweet, we've delivered one single tier cake with Hello Kitty topper along with a rainbow. Cake served approx.10-12pax.

This is a small 10pax lychee cake frosted with fresh cream icing, our customer specially ordered this as a gift for her sister's new born baby.

Last week, we did a cake in the Power Ranger Jungle Fury theme cake for a little boy's 5th birthday celebrations. The cake serves approx. 25pax and all figurines provided by customer.

Lastly, we would like to post some photos on the most labour intensive project for the week. Ying Ying is turning 3 and she is very much in love with pink. Apart from clothings, hair clips, shoes, she does wish everything to be pink and feels that pink is the best colour for her little world. Therefore, we have set our party theme for this year to be pink and we just tried to do everything in pink (except the caterer's food though)!

We tried to decor our venue with some pink flowers, and I did a little wishes tree for her so that guests may write their words or two for my little princess. Besides, we ordered some balloons in soft and hot pink colours.
Here comes Ying Ying's castle cake, we were quite worried that we may not be able to finish a larger cake because there were four more desserts in addition to 10 course buffet spread. This cake serves approx. 20-23pax.

Our customer was inspired with our safari theme cake and here's the one we did for her son's 5th birthday :

Cake served approx. 20-23pax and our customer requested lion, giraffe and hippo onto her cake.

We have no seen anything like this, but our customer called them vegetales and she wanted a cucumber and tomato with facial expressions

Cake served 25pax and it was fresh cream and sponge.

Our customer was inspired by our earlier design on My Melody theme. However, the mushroom house that she obtained is different hence we did a revamp on design to suite her topper.

Cake served approx. 15pax.

We will abandon the use of marshmallow lollipops on our cakes due to inconsistent supply, in replace, we make our own candy picks that looks equally awesome. This is a fresh cream sponge cake (served approx. 30pax) decorated with candy picks in animal theme.

This shortcake design was done in fresh cream and sponge cake. It served approx. 15pax and the strawberry shortcake figurine was a candle.
